A cold spell in the UK this weekend has served as a reminder that I have been meaning to mention Marketa for a while. Today we have had snow (snow! yay!), and my wintry morning walk to nursery, toddler in tow was kind of - fresh.
View from my window - brr.
A few months ago I bought a couple of Marketa's neck accessories - a leather chocker necklace and a tartan scarflette to keep my neck warm instead of wearing a bulky scarf. Her online shop sells various designs made from plaid cottons, lambskin and cashmere. I particularly like the leather ones (and really ought to get a couple). The red plaid works well with my 'English aristo gone hunting' look and gets loads of compliments.
The leather choker made my child's thrifted black velvet dress look a lot less like it should be worn to a five year old birthday party. I love the clean lines of this dress. I can't wait to do something with the other velvet items I picked up.
Leather choker: Marketa, black velvet dress: thrifted, leather leggings: Topshop Unique, boots: Ann Demeulemeester
